"Passion for empowering others"

Welcome, I am so glad you're here!

There is great value in having others around, both in navigating through pain and in finding healing.

The connection we have with ourselves, and the relationships we share with others, is powerful.

My belief is that by fostering an understanding of who we are, where we’ve been and what we have experienced, we are able to form a foundation from which to create healing.

It is my hope that our work together generates acceptance and understanding, empowers you to create real change, and clears a path so that you can allow healing within your life. We will work together to improve skill(s) and develop tools that can assist you on your journey.

Associate Professional Counselor

My experience as a therapist

As a therapist, my Person-Centered approach has been successful in helping clients cope with, and overcome, a variety of challenges—depression, anxiety, grief and loss, life transitions, stress, and trauma. I understand the therapeutic process is often uncomfortable/difficult, so it is important to me that my clients feel the environment we share is one in which they can explore themselves and their experiences, without judgment. I incorporate components of Existential and Cognitive Behavioral Therapies, in addition to other therapeutic modalities that allow me to meet you where you are and address your individual needs.  I have training in EMDR Therapy, an integrative psychotherapy approach that has proven effective in treating trauma. My aim is to provide the type of care specific to your needs in an environment that can/will best serve you.

If you think my services would be a good fit for your needs, please schedule an appointment online, or contact me with any questions you may have. I look forward to speaking with you.
My practice is affirming regardless of race, culture, gender identity, sexual orientation, religious, and spiritual beliefs. All are valued and welcomed!
